Marriott COBRA Notice Class Action Lawsuit

The settlement will benefit beneficiaries in the Marriott health plan who were sent a COBRA notice within the last four years and did not elect to continue their coverage. According to the class action, the hotel chain failed to provide sufficient health care notices upon termination. Vazquez was reportedly fired from her job as a maid for Marriott in October 2016, but did not receive a sufficient notice about her rights to continue health care coverage.
