LA County Sheriff’s Dept ICE Hold Class Action Lawsuit

For immigrants who claimed they were unlawfully detained by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department due to ICE holds, then you are eligible for a potential award from the LA County Sheriff’s Dept ICE Hold Class Action Lawsuit!

    • Booking Arrestees Who Should Have Been Released Due to Low Bail: Class Members who had an ICE hold and were booked into jail on charges with a total bail amount of less than $25,000 between Oct. 19, 2010, and June 14, 2014. Exceptions will be reviewed individually.
    • Refusing to Accept Bail: Class Members for whom the sheriff’s department denied the right to post bail between Oct. 19, 2010, and Oct. 18, 2012, because they had an ICE hold.
