The settlement will benefit all current or former content Facebook moderators who worked for the company in California, Arizona, Texas, or Florida between Sep. 15, 2015, and August 14, 2020. Content moderators may have worked for Facebook as an employee, or they may have done work as a subcontractor for one or more Facebook vendors. You may be eligible for a potential award from the Facebook Moderators Class Action Lawsuit!

According to the class action, the plaintiffs allege Facebook failed to provide a safe work environment for content moderators. Due to these Class Members being exposed to graphic and objectionable material repeatedly, many suffered from trauma-related injuries, such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Class Members, the plaintiffs allege, were at an increased risk of suffering bodily injuries, too. So if you are eligible, file a claim by March 14, 2022 to receive your potential award!
