Quinnipiac University COVID-19 Tuition Refunds Class Action Lawsuit

Quinnipiac University agreed to pay $2.5 million to resolve a class action lawsuit claiming it failed to refund students for on-campus tuition paid during the COVID-19 campus closures.

Students in the COVID-19 tuition class action lawsuit accused Quinnipiac University of overcharging them for spring 2020 tuition. According to the plaintiffs, their tuition and fees should have been reduced or refunded after the university closed its campus in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Quinnipiac University is a private university in Connecticut. The school closed its campus in March 2020 to comply with state mandates.

Quinnipiac University hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $2.5 million class action settlement to resolve these allegations.
