Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky Towing Fees Class Action Lawsuit

Louisville and Jefferson County, Kentucky, authorities agreed to a $1.5 million class action settlement to resolve claims they violated ordinances by charging improper towing fees.

According to the class action lawsuit, Louisville and Jefferson County Metro Government violated city and county ordinances by charging excessive fees to store towed vehicles. The plaintiffs in the case say they were financially injured by these unlawful fees.

The Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Government is the government entity that controls Louisville and Jefferson County.

Louisville and Jefferson County authorities haven’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $1.5 million settlement to resolve the towing fees class action lawsuit.
