According to the lawsuit, Wells Fargo committed several violations of California labor law against its Level 1 and 2 Store Managers. The plaintiffs claim Wells Fargo misclassified these Store Managers as being exempt from California and federal laws that require a higher rate of overtime pay for certain kinds of employees. They allege Wells Fargo failed to provide required meal and rest breaks and failed to pay these managers at an overtime rate for overtime hours.
