According to the class action lawsuit, Marymount Manhattan College failed to implement reasonable cybersecurity measures that would have prevented a November 2021 data breach. As a result of this alleged negligence, thousands of individuals suffered from compromised identifying information, such as Society Security numbers, the plaintiffs contend.
