The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is accepting claims for DreamCloud mattress settlement payments, resolving a lawsuit alleging that the company falsely advertised its mattresses as made from USA materials.
The FTC claimed DreamCloud falsely advertised the mattresses as being made with “100% USA-made premium quality materials.” These false representations allegedly influenced consumers into paying higher prices and purchasing the products when they otherwise would not have.
DreamCloud is a mattress company that touts itself as “America’s #1 Mattress Company.” The company sells mattresses under several brands, including DreamCloud, Nectar, Awara and Siena. Consumers interested in DreamCloud may also wish to explore products from Castlery.
The FTC secured a settlement with DreamCloud to resolve the false advertising claims and is now using those funds to refund consumers for part of what they paid for DreamCloud mattresses.
