Pape-Dawson Engineers agreed to a $250,000 settlement to resolve a class action lawsuit stemming from a 2022 data breach that compromised personal information and protected health data.
According to the data breach class action lawsuit, Pape-Dawson failed to prevent a data breach discovered on Feb. 21, 2022. The data breach allegedly compromised Social Security numbers, medical information and other sensitive data.
Pape-Dawson Engineers is a civil engineering company that offers transportation, water, land development, environmental and surveying services.
Pape-Dawson hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $250,000 settlement to resolve the data breach class action lawsuit.
