KSE Sportsman Media agreed to a $9.5 million class action lawsuit settlement to resolve claims that it shared magazine subscriber information with third parties without consent.

According to the class action lawsuit, KSE Sportsman Media shared subscriber information with third parties without first getting consent. This information sharing allegedly violated Michigan’s Preservation of Personal Privacy Act.

KSE Sportsman Media, also known as Outdoor Sportsman Group, operates several outdoor- and gun-related magazines, including Wildfowl, Firearms News and Game & Fish.

KSE Sportsman Media hasn’t admitted any wrongdoing but agreed to a $9.5 million settlement to resolve the privacy class action lawsuit.
