A $302,652 settlement has been reached in a class action lawsuit that claimed Dimension Development Co. violated the law by failing to pay its employees various forms of wages.
The plaintiff in the case alleged that within the class period, the defendant failed to pay minimum wages, overtime wages, premium wages in lieu of meal and rest breaks, reimbursement of business expenses and final wages at separation of employment as required under California Labor Laws. The plaintiff also accused the defendant of unfair competition.
Dimension Development Co. Inc. is the parent company of Dimension Hospitality, one of the largest hospitality management companies in the U.S. The company acquires, develops and manages hotels across the country, partnering with major brands like Hilton, Marriott, IHG and Hyatt.
Eligible class members can receive financial compensation if the settlement is approved and becomes final.
