For those who had personal identifiable information exposed through the use of unsecured web addresses between July 15, 2014 and Aug. 5, 2015, you are eligible for a potential award from the Yapstone Data Breach Class Action Lawsuit! According to the lawsuit, Yapstone Holdings Inc. (formerly Yapstone Inc.) allowed some Yapstone users’ personally identifiable information to be exposed. The potentially exposed information may include Yapstone users’ names, addresses, dates of birth, bank account information, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, or passport numbers. Yapstone denies all acts of allegations, however, they have agreed to settle the class-action lawsuit in order to avoid the further risk and cost of ongoing litigation.   • Who’s Eligible: Persons may be eligible for settlement benefits if their Social Security number, driver’s license number, or passport number was among the information potentially exposed; if they were sent an Incident Notice from Yapstone; and if they did not sign up for the free two-year credit protection and fraud resolution offered in the Incident Notice.
