According to the lawsuit, LSC Communications violated Illinois residents’ rights under state privacy laws by forcing employees to provide biometric information without the appropriate protections and disclosures. LSC Communications allegedly failed to give the biometic information to its Illinois employees before it forced them to provide their hand or fingerprint scans to record their work time.
