Experian Public Record Class Action Lawsuit (Varies)

The settlement will benefit individuals who requested and received a copy of their credit report from Experian between Jan. 15, 2011 and Sept. 21, 2018 that included a public record (bankruptcy, judgement, or tax lien).

If you are one of these individuals, then you are eligible for a potential award from the Experian Public Record Class Action Lawsuit!

According to the lawsuit, one of the class action lawsuits claims that Experian fails to disclose the source of their public record information. Due to inaccurately reported public records, plaintiffs and Class Members allegedly had their credit reports negatively affected. The plaintiffs claim that Experian’s inadequate reporting violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
